A new Paradigm is here. Please update your Reality

I finally stopped sitting on my fingers this week-end, and did something I should've done a long, long time ago (but postponed due to my webhost moving files and me not knowing when that would be done): updating Paradygma. Thus Paradygma 3.0 is (re)born. Granted, I haven't uploaded everything yetand there are some pictures that are here on SA.N and on dA, but that I won't put there for various reasons. However, I'm getting there. Now I even have a RSS feed for my updates (thank you, WordPress, you've been a lifesaver).

Several pictures later, I'm finally nearing the completion of this gallery's update. (No, I have not been crapping out one drawing a day!) There are still three more to go (four if I decide to add some silly ST drawing). After that, my posting rhythm will be much more slower.
I have many ideas and projects regarding illustrationtoo many for my own good, even. I don't know yet what the next pic will be. I'll probably decide that this week-end.

Updating that darned gallery of mine

For the time being, I've managed not to disappear from the face of Earth, or rather S-A.N, which is a good thing. I really need to stop signing up for stuff and then logging in once in a blue moon only.
Finals are over, or so I hope (you can never really know what exam you've flunked and have to take again, huh). This means trying to update my gallery here, because there are older pictures I'd like to show -- all the while also wanting to display my newest works, yet not wishing to see them buried between two pieces from 2004 or so.
I'll get to it. That's a given. I'm just not sure if I should update everything in one go, or if it's better to upload one or two pics at a time only. It'll probably depend on what I feel like doing, now that I have more time to devote to this "task".

I thought I hadn't been here in a few months only... It turned out it was actually a year or so. Gah. Every time, it's the same thing. I get distracted by school, work, assignments and other things, and forget that I was actually planning to flesh out my gallery here a little, before adding the new stuff.
Well, I suppose I can still do that. It's just going to take me ages, as usual. Maybe I should put up a reminder about all the websites I mean to visit and never get around to?
Because, the truth is, I like this place. I just need to visit it more often, so that I truly find where I belong in it.

Story finally online

I've just realized I had completely forgotten to put an announcement about it here. Since it might be of interest to fellow artisti, here goes:
I've mulled the thought over, and pondered it again and again. Finally, I've decided to do something with Unsung Heroes, the story I had written for NaNoWriMo 2005, and that something means putting it as a free read on my website. The first chapter is therefore online here. If you haven't had a look at the 'summary' yet, it is there.
Yep, it's public. I've realized that I don't have strong feelings about seeing it published on paper one day (if I ever happen to do so, it'll probably be on Lulu.com, for the couple of people who might want to hold a real book in their hands). I'm taking a risk, but let's be honest, this is NOT the next Dune, I wrote it for the sheer pleasure of having fun and giving fun to my potential readers, and I very much doubt anyone will ever want to plagiarize it. I wasn't looking for a best-seller anyway--just something enjoyable. I hope I've reached my goal
With this said, feel free to read it at your leisure. It's in English, because I have neither the time nor the will to translate it in French, and it will remain this way. I will also do my best to update more often than every few weeks; this is my incentive to proof-read the whole novel, one chapter at a time, because seriously, it needed to be done.

Oookay. Apologies to whoever visited my page and/or left a comment on a pic... It seems that October and its subsequent increase in homework completely sucked me away from this place, which is a shame, really.
I'm pretty confident I'll be scarce again at some point or another, but for the time being, well, I'll try to take part in more than I've been doing in the past months.
Because this place is nice. Yes, it is.

The past week was my first week of classes, and biy, do I realize how much I suck in understanding spoken English! It's all fine and dandy to talk over Skype with a couple pals I made over the 'Net, but the recordings we have at the university are a whole other matter (if only because they're usually of poor quality, with voices half-covered with traffic sounds, and other joyful surprises of the same kind). Oh well. I'll bring a tent to the recordings' library, and hope I can train myself to the best of my abilities before December's exam.
I'm not sure how much time I'll have to drop by, and when I have, I may not be the most active of members. On the other hand, I don't know myself what life will be made of from now on, so who else can tell, after all. Maybe things will turn for the best in the end.
In the meantime, I'll go on uploading a coupld of things here and there. My most recent works will come last, though - it'd be weird to put them now in my gallery, and to fill it later on with older works. At least, I would find it weird!

Theme fun

I've had some fun with themes, and decided to make one recreating (sort of) the old layout of my website. And, since I'm kind like that--and don't use it anymore for myself anyway--I've decided to make it public. So, grab 'Paradygma' while it's hot, and feel free to apply it to your pages at will.

It seems that there's a glitch that's causing SA.N to hate me, and prevents me from uploading images. Okay. Since I still wanted to upload something, I decided on a piece of prose. It's not very recent (a little under one year old), but it still makes me smile as of today, and I like having fun with this kind of little dialogue from time to time.
Drawings and digital art to come later on, when I can actually upload.

Again, I must have followed a link, bookmarked the place, then forgotten where I had discovered it from, because I just have no idea how I managed to find my way back to here.
However, I like discovering and taking part to new art communities (new for me, that is...), and this one looks nice, even if I haven't toured it properly yet. Besides, one more member cannot harm, right? I'll be this new member.
I'll try to add more to my page/gallery later on. In any case, it's nice to be here.
